The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid is calculated using the formula: Assessed available bid capacity = (A x N x 2) - B Where: A = Maximum value of works executed in anyone year during last five years (updated to the price level of current financial year at the rate of 7% simple interest per annum) B = Value of existing commitments or ongoing works to be completed in the next 'N' years N = Number of years rounded up to first decimal prescribed for completion of the subject contract. Additionally, the bid capacity required in the given tender to bid is also determined by the following formulas for Performance Security: i) Below 5%, No Additional Performance Security ii) From 5% and above and below 10%, 50% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and Bid Amount) iii) From 10% and above, 150% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and Bid Amount) The estimated cost of the tender is Rs. 2,65,18,137.00.
