The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - 3 years of experience in civil engineering construction, with the total value of work performed in the last three years and the average per year. - Completion of work as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor for similar works in the last seven years. - Prior work experience in similar works, specifically in Operation and maintenance/construction of 4/6 laned highways, with a minimum of 90% completion of the contract value. - 3 years of experience on NH/SH/Bridge construction/maintenance works. - 5 years of experience with a graduate degree from a recognized university. - 3 years of experience in highway property management and maintenance. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - Three similar completed works costing not less than Rs 237.36 lakhs each. - Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs 296.70 lakhs each. - One similar completed work costing not less than Rs 474.72 lakhs. - A minimum of 90% completion of the contract value for similar works. - The contractor has failed to complete 75% of the value of indented work in any 3 indents issued by the Engineer, which is considered a fundamental breach, and the Employer's additional cost for completing the work is 20% of the value of work not completed. - Liquidated damages for delay in completion of work is 0.1 percent of the Indented value per day.
