The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last three years. - Work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. - Similar works completed, with details such as contract value and completion dates. - Existing commitments and ongoing works, with details such as contract value and stipulated period of completion. - Bid capacity, calculated based on the bidder's existing commitments and ongoing works. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works during the last seven years, with the following requirements: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% each of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% each of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Values and percentages mentioned include: - Total value of work performed in the last three years. - Contract value, stipulated period of completion, and actual completion date for similar works completed. - Value of works remaining to be completed, for existing commitments and ongoing works. - Bid capacity, calculated based on the bidder's existing commitments and ongoing works, with a formula provided: Assessed available bid capacity = AxNx2.5 – B. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved an average annual financial turnover equal to the amount indicated in the NIT during the last three years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, duly certified by a Chartered Accountant. The bidder should also provide information on similar works completed, with details such as contract value, stipulated period of completion, and actual completion date, and the value and percentage of similar works completed to be provided. The bidder's experience is measured by their ability to handle a certain volume of work, calculated based on their past performance and their current commitments. The similar work constitutes experience in operation and maintenance/construction of 2/4/6 laned SH/NH, and an escalation factor is provided to bring the value of such completed works to the level of the current financial year.
