Description Invitation To Bid Procurement Of Security Services For Nfa Region Xiv For The Period Covering February 1 - December 31, 2024 Project Reference No.: Nfa14-security-2023-l-016 1. The National Food Authority (nfa) Region Xiv, Through Its Corporate Operating Budget For 2024, Intends To Apply The Sum Of Twelve Million Six Hundred One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Nine & 29/100 Pesos (₱12,601,259.29) Being The Yearly Approved Budget For The Contract (abc) Earmarked And To Be Applied To Payments For The Contract Procurement Of Security Services For Nfa Region Xiv For The Period February 1, 2024 To December 31, 2024. Bids Received In Excess Of The Aforesaid Yearly Abc Shall Be Automatically Rejected At Bid Opening. 2. The Nfa Now Invites Bids For Procurement Of Security Services For Nfa Region Xiv For The Period February 1, 2024 To December 31, 2024. Performance Of Services And The Supply Of Goods Incidental Thereto Are Necessary For The Duration Of Or As May Be Otherwise Required Under The Contract. 3. Bidders Should Have Completed, Within The Immediate Last Three (3) Years From The Date Of Submission And Receipt Of Bids, A Contract Similar To The Project Subject Of This Bid. The Description Of An Eligible Bidder As Well As The Definition Of A ‘similar Contract” Is Contained In The Bidding Documents, Particularly, In Sections Ii And Iii, Instructions To Bidders And Bid Data Sheet, Respectively. 4. Bidding Will Be Conducted Through Open Competitive Bidding Procedures Using A Non-discretionary “pass/fail” Criterion As Specified In The 2016 Revised Implementing Rules And Regulations (irr) Of Republic Act (ra) 9184, Otherwise Known As The “government Procurement Reform Act”. 5. Bidding Is Restricted To Filipino Citizens/sole Proprietorships, Partnerships, Or Organizations With At Least Sixty Percent (60%) Interest Or Outstanding Capital Stock Belonging To Citizens Of The Philippines, And To Citizens Or Organizations Of A Country The Laws Or Regulations Of Which Grant Similar Rights Or Privileges To Filipino Citizens, Pursuant To Ra 5183. 6.
