The bidder is required to have prior work experience of similar works, which includes installation, repairing, or substantially completing work of dam gates, HR gates, canal gates, penstock gates, or SITC of gantry cranes at dam sites. The experience should be for work costing more than 7.5 crore. The bidder should have a total combined experience of fabrication, erection, and machining within one year out of the last five financial years. The bidder should have completed at least one job of similar work, with a value of at least 40% of the estimated value, and the percentage of completion should be at least 90%. For works costing more than 7.5 Crore, the contractor must have completed at least one such job of similar work during the last five financial years for an amount mentioned in terms of value (40% of estimated value) and total combined experience of Fabrication, Erection, and Machining within one year out of the last five financial years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of Hydro-Mechanical engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should also have access to liquid assets, or have available credit facilities up to 25% of the value of the contract. The bidder should submit a certificate of experience of successfully completing or substantially completing similar works, duly attested by a Notary, and scanned and uploaded. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price.
