The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor, or as a nominated sub-contractor, where the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work. The experience should be in the last five years, and the bidder should have completed works with a value of at least a certain amount. The bidder is required to have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission, and continuing satisfactorily. The bidder should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work within the last five financial years. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs----Crore for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years. Additionally, the bidder should invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The value of the work to be executed is mentioned as Rs. 2,45,90,170.85. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of this value, which is Rs. 98,36,068.34.
