The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions. The required information includes the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years, with details of projects completed, and quantities of work executed. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. The annual financial turnover should be equal to or more than the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for. Substantially completed works are defined as those that are at least 90 percent completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90 percent or more of the original contract price. The bidder should give an undertaking that they have access to, or have available, liquid assets up to 25 percent of the value of the contract.
