The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with details on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed, and quantities of work executed, including cement, masonry, earth, bituminous, and concrete. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs.3.11 Crore in any one year over the last five financial years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years, which means a minimum of Rs.124.00 lacs. The contractor should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years. The lead partner in a joint venture should meet not less than 50 percent of the criteria, and other partners should meet not less than 30 percent. The bidder should have access to or have available liquid assets up to 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied. The bidder should demonstrate sound financial position, including long-term profitability, with an estimated financial projection for the next two years. The audited balance sheets for the last five years should be submitted. The available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of work executed, B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the total estimated cost of the works.
