The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar work, such as Irrigation works or Canal Linning works. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works are considered those that are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission.
