The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a minimum annual financial turnover and experience in successfully completing or substantially completing contracts of similar work. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs.----Crore for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The required values and percentages of similar works completed are as follows: (1) One Work For 80 % of Estimated Amount (2) Two Work For 50 % of Estimated Amount (3) Three Work For 40 % of Estimated Amount Additionally, the contractor should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station etc. within last five financial years. A certificate from the employer shall be submitted along with the application, incorporating details such as the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, and date of commencement of works.
