The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should have executed a single work of RCC Road work having a minimum value of Rs. 282.54 Lacs, completed during the last 4 financial years plus the current financial year. The works should be substantially completed, meaning at least 90% completed, as on the date of submission. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works, in any one year, equal to the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for. The value of similar works completed is mentioned as at least 40% of the proposed contract value, and the percentage of completion is mentioned as at least 90% completed. The amount involved is mentioned as a minimum value of Rs. 282.54 Lacs for a single work of RCC Road work. The bidder should provide details of their experience in similar works, including total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years, and details of work performed as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor. A certificate from the engineer-in-charge for the completed works should also be provided.
