The Municipality Of Lambton Shores (“the Municipality”) Is Issuing This Request For Tender (“rft”) To Seek Interested Contractors For The Reconstruction Of A Gabion Wall On George Street And Associated Works, As Detailed In The Appended Drawing Package Within Forest, Ontario. The Scope Of Work Is Further Detailed Within The Rft Documents. Scope Of Work - The Contractor Will Be Required To Efficiently And Effectively Deliver The Following Scope Of Work: • Remove And Dispose Of Existing Gabion Wall • Excavate Area Behind Wall To Facilitate Work • Construct New Gabion Wall With Granular Base And Granular Backfill • Remove And Dispose Of Existing Fence And Trees/shrubs Where Impacted By The Works • Install New Timber Privacy Fence • Plant New Trees/shrubs To Replace Those Removed • Remove And Replace Concrete Curb And Asphalt Where Impacted By The Work • All Works Performed Shall Comply With Ops And Municipality Of Lambton Shores Standards Unless Otherwise Approved By The Municipality. • Traffic Control And Restoration Associated With The Work And Any Laydown And/or Storage Areas/areas Disturbed By The Contractor.
