The bidder should have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, with substantially completed works meaning those that are at least 90% completed as of the date of submission. The experience can be as a prime contractor, a member of a joint venture, or a nominated sub-contractor. For joint ventures, the lead partner must meet at least 50% of the criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. Other joint venture partners' experience will be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value that demonstrates their capability to execute the proposed contract. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The bidder needs to provide details of work performed, including the name of the project, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, and actual date of completion. The quantities of work executed, including the quantity of work performed in cubic meters or metric tons for items such as cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, are also required. A specific percentage of 20 percent is mentioned, which is the percentage to apply to the value of the work not completed, representing the employer's additional cost for completing the works. The bidder's available bid capacity is adjusted to account for their bid price. The value of similar works completed is required to be filled in by the bidder, with details of the project, employer, and contract value. The total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last three years is also required. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last three years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for.
