The bidder is required to have prior work experience of similar type of works, successfully completed during the last Five years in the role of prime contractor. The bidder should have successfully completed at least one contract of similar works during the last five years. No specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, except that the bidder should have completed at least one contract of similar works during the last five years. However, there are specific conditions for the value of similar completed works, which are: - Three similar completed works each of value not less than 20% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Or, two similar completed works each of value not less than 25% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Or, one similar completed work of value equal to or not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. Additionally, the value of completed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. The bidder should also have achieved an average annual financial turnover of 30% of the estimated cost of work in the last three financial years. For ongoing works, the bidder must have received payment bills of 80% of the contract sum for the work executed.
