The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works with specific cost percentages of the estimated cost. The options for similar completed works are: - Three similar completed works each costing 20% of estimated cost, - Two similar completed works each costing 25% of estimated cost, - One completed work of aggregate 40% of estimated cost. The value of completed works is considered during the last seven financial years and up to the date of submission of the tender. The value of executed works is brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. Additionally, the bidder should have successfully completed at least one contract of similar works during the last seven years. The bidder is also required to have an average annual financial turnover equal to 30% of the estimated cost of work in the last five financial years and available liquid assets of minimum 15% of the cost of the work tendered for, net of the tender’s commitment of other contracts. The bid capacity of the prospective bidders will be calculated based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years.
