The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily executed work of similar nature in the last seven years. The required prior work experience can be demonstrated by: - Three similar completed works each of value not less than Rs.68.84 lakhs, - OR two similar completed works each of value not less than Rs.87.29 lakhs, - OR one similar completed work of value equal to or not less than Rs. 139.68 Lakhs. The value of completed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least 35% of the value of any one component of the project work, or having satisfactorily completed 35% of the value of work of each component during the last seven financial years. The financial eligibility criteria also require that the contractual payments received by the JV firm or the arithmetic sum of contractual payments received by all the members of the JV firm in any one of the previous three financial years should be at least 100% of the estimated value of the work. The percentage of similar works completed is 35%. The compensation for delay is calculated as a percentage of the contract value, ranging from 1% per week for projects with a completion period not exceeding 6 months, to 0.25% per week for projects with a completion period exceeding 2 years. The total amount of compensation for delay shall not exceed 10% of the contract value for projects with a completion period not exceeding 6 months, 7.5% for projects with a completion period exceeding 6 months and not exceeding 2 years, and 5% for projects with a completion period exceeding 2 years.
