The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily executed work of similar nature in the last seven years. The specific requirements are: - Three similar completed works each of value not less than 20% of the estimated cost put to tender, - Two similar completed works each of value not less than 25% of the estimated cost put to tender, - One similar completed work of value equal to or not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. Additionally, for fixing the requirement of Technical Staff, the experience required is as follows: - For a cost of work between 1.5 to 5 Cr, the Principle technical representative should have a minimum experience of 5 years. - For a cost of work between more than 5 upto 10 Cr, the Principle technical representative should have a minimum experience of 5 years. - For a cost of work between more than 10 upto 20 Cr, the Project Manager should have a minimum experience of 10 years. The experience required for other technical staff is also mentioned: - Graduate Engineer: 5 years, 2 years - Diploma Engineer: 5 years, 2 years - Project Engineer/Planning/Billing Engineer: 5 years The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. In case of ongoing works, the bidder must have received payment bills of 80% of the contract sum for the work executed. Similar experience includes work in building construction or building maintenance, such as repairs, retro-fitting, structural repairs, construction or repairs of asphalt/concrete roads, laying sewer lines, or laying/rehabilitating water pipe lines.
