The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar completed works each of value not less than 20% of the estimated cost put to tender, - Or two similar completed works each of value not less than 25% of the estimated cost put to tender, - Or one similar completed work of value equal to or not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. In case of ongoing works, the bidder must have received payment bills of 80% of the contract sum for the work executed. The bidder should have achieved an average annual financial turnover of 30% of the estimated cost of work in the last three financial years. The bid capacity of the prospective bidders will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the financial year in which bids are received at a rate of 10% per year. The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the designation and qualification. For a Project Manager with a degree, 10 years of experience is required. For a Graduate Engineer, 5 years or 2 years of experience is required. For a Diploma Engineer, 5 years of experience is required.
