The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily executed work of similar nature in BMC/Semi Govt./Govt. & Public Sector Organizations during the last seven years. The bidder should have completed at least one of the following: - Three similar completed works, each of value not less than Rs. 12,31,458.00/- - Two similar completed works, each of value not less than Rs. 15,39,322.5/- - One similar completed work, each of value not less than Rs. 24,62,916.00/- Alternatively, the bidder should have completed works with values not less than Rs. 66,56,117.96/-, Rs. 83,20,147.45/-, or Rs. 1,33,12,235.93/- for three similar completed works. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bid capacity of the prospective bidders will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the financial year in which bids are received at a rate of 10% per year, compounded annually. The bidder must have work experience in all two parts, failing which their offer shall be treated as non-responsive. The bidder should have satisfactorily executed work of similar nature as a prime contractor in the last seven years, specifically in "Enhancing the luminance of larger area by installing the poles of height more than or equal to 10 metre" or "Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of works by improvement of luminance". Compensation for delay is specified, with compensation not exceeding 10% of the contract value for completion periods not exceeding 6 months, 7½ percent for completion periods exceeding 6 months and not exceeding 2 years, and 5 percent for completion periods exceeding 2 years.
