Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing projects that are similar in nature to the works. The bidder should have experience in laying of water supply pipes with supplying pipes, specials, and valves.
The prospective bidders should have sufficient resources, financial solvency, and sufficient experience. The required prior work experience for the bidder is as follows:
- The intending bidder should produce credentials of a similar nature of completed work of at least 40% of the estimated amount put to tender within the last 5 years prior to the date of publishing of this tender.
- OR, the intending bidders should produce credentials of 2 similar nature of completed work, each of the minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years prior to the date of publishing of this tender.
- OR, the intending bidders should produce credentials of one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, and the value of which is not less than the desired value.
In case of running works, only those bidders who will submit the certificate of satisfactory running work from the concerned Executive Engineer or equivalent competent authority will be eligible for the tender. The certificate should clearly state that the work is in progress satisfactorily and also that no penal action has been initiated against the executing agency, i.e., the bidders.
The value of similar works completed should be at least 80% or more of the desired value. The bidder should have completed similar nature of work, and the value of such work should not be less than the desired value.
Additionally, bidders need to submit an experience certificate for completion/payment certificate of similar nature of work, which includes a work order, completion certificate, BOQ, and payment certificate issued by a competent authority.

The amount put to tender will be the contract price, which will be determined based on the rate quoted by the bidder. The bidder's average annual turnover during the last 5 years should be at least 40% of the amount put to tender. The bidder should also have a valid bank solvency certificate with a minimum value of 40% of the amount put to tender.
