The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have completed similar work of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding five years. The bidder should provide details of the work, including the type and nature of the work, location, name and designation of the employer, value of the work, agreement number, stipulated period of the contract, and date of commencement and completion of the work. The actual value of the work executed as per the final payment should also be mentioned. The percentage of similar works completed is 50% of the value put to tender. However, no specific amount is mentioned. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works of value of not less than 50% of the value put to tender in a “single agreement” as a prime contractor in any one year of the preceding 5 years. Additionally, the bidder should have an annual minimum financial turnover of not less than 100% of the value put to tender in any one of the financial year in the preceding 5 years, and working capital sufficient to finance at least 15% of the value put to tender. The bidder should also have experience in the Road work/Bridge work field for at least the past five years. The bidder should have certain level of technical personnel under regular employment, including a B.E Civil (or) equivalent Degree holder with 5 years of experience, and Diploma holders in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience.
