The bidder should have been in the Civil Engineering Construction field for at least the past five years. They should have satisfactorily completed BT Road work(s) or BT and CC Road Work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding years for a Government Department/Board/Government Undertaking. The annual minimum financial turnover should be not less than 50% of the value put to tender in a financial year in the preceding years. Additionally, the bidder should not have abandoned any work of similar nature and magnitude, and none of the contracts awarded to the bidder should have been terminated or rescinded due to breach of contract on their part during the last five years. The bidder should also have working capital sufficient to finance at least 15% of the value put to tender. A security deposit equivalent to 2% of the contract value is required, which includes the earnest money deposit already paid.
