The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works, which are defined as carrying out hydrographic surveys in sea water under tidal conditions. The bidder must have completed at least one of the following: - THREE similar works during the last SEVEN years, each costing not less than Rs. 96.29 lakhs or a quantity not less than a bathymetry survey of 2040 km length. - TWO similar works during the last SEVEN years, each costing not less than Rs. 120.36 lakhs or a quantity not less than a bathymetry survey of 2550 km length. - ONE similar work during the last SEVEN years, costing not less than Rs. 192.57 lakhs or a quantity not less than a bathymetry survey of 4080 km length. The cost of similar works is to be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of seven percent per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the date of Bid opening. No specific percentage of the contract price is mentioned for the similar works. The percentage increase for the cost of similar works is 7% per annum. The values of similar works are specified as a minimum amount (in Rs. lakhs) or a minimum quantity (in km length).
