The required prior work experience for the bidder involves completing similar works within the last 7 years, with specific value requirements. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s): - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s): - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The value of similar works completed is considered, including the final bill amount (gross amount) and the PVC amount (if paid). In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, is considered as the cost of substantially completed work. Specific values and percentages of similar works completed are mentioned, such as: - Chapter 4 & 5: 3000000.00 with a percentage of (-) 28.63, resulting in 2141100.00 - Chapter 6 & 7: 8000000.00 with a percentage of (-) 28.63, resulting in 5709600.00 - Chapter 10 & 21: 10000000.00 with a percentage of (-) 28.63, resulting in 7137000.00 - Chapter 13: 3500000.00 with a percentage of (-) 28.63, resulting in 2497950.00 - Chapter 17 & 18: 15000000.00 with a percentage of (-) 28.63, resulting in 10705500.00 Additionally, for subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for by the Railway for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh.
