Modern Coach Factory Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Similar work includes supply of Shell Kit/Under-frame/Roof/Side Wall/End wall of LHB coaches, supply of Kit components, or execution of works contract for cutting and bending of components. The bidder must also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in Crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The tenderer is required to submit information as per Annexure-VIB, along with copies of Audited Balance Sheets duly certified by the Chartered Accountant, which may include details of their past work experience and financial performance. The specific amounts and percentages for similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender.
