Request for Quotation for Construction of two manholes at Vrede Hof Flats, Windhoek, Khomas Region The following is a list of typical buildings to which this bid is applicable, but not limited to: a) School buildings, hostels, caretakers’ cottages, etc. b) Educational and/ or training colleges, hostels, teachers’ houses, etc. c) General office buildings, lecture halls, recreational halls, libraries, dining rooms, kitchens, laboratories, workshops, etc. d) Hospital complexes, clinics, wards, theatres, etc. e) Magistrates offices, court rooms, township offices, etc. f) Staff housing and flats g) Border posts h) Police station complexes 2 Allocation of Work The Public Entity places a high value on the quality of work and the ability of the Contractor to immediately attend to the work requested. A contractor shall be excluded from future allocations if: i. the contractor has failed to perform, or ii. the contractor has failed to complete the works on time, or iii. the quality of the work is exceptionally poor, or iv. the contractor fails to remedy and attend to defects within the defects liability period, or v. the contractor is repeatedly unreachable (i.e. does not respond to faxes, telephone calls, e-mails or registered mail)
