The important information related to prior work experience under the technical capacity header includes: - The Bidder should furnish the details of eligible experience for the last 10 financial years. - One similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3 individually. - Experience for any activity relating to an Eligible Project shall not be claimed by two or more Members of the Joint Venture. - The Technical capacity in respect of an Eligible Project situated in a developed country which is a member of OECD shall be further multiplied by a factor of 0.5. - For projects executed under category 3 and 4 as a member of Joint Venture, the project cost should be restricted to the share of the applicant in the joint venture for determining eligibility. - Maintenance works are not considered as eligible project for evaluation. - The entity claiming experience should have held a minimum of 26% equity in the company owning the Eligible Project during the entire year for which Eligible Experience is being claimed. - The capital cost of the project should be more than 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost. - The entity claiming experience shall, during the last 10 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date, have itself undertaken the construction of the project for an amount equal to at least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects. - For a project to qualify as an Eligible Project, the Bidder should have received payments from its client(s) for construction works executed, fully or partially, and only the amounts (gross) actually received during the 10 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date shall qualify for purposes of computing the Experience Score. - Receipts of or work executed amount less than Rs. 92.39 Lakh shall not be reckoned as receipts for Eligible Projects. - The Bidder shall have received payments for construction of Eligible Project(s) or has undertaken construction works by itself in a PPP project, such that the sum total thereof is more than Rs. 13.86 Crore. - For normal highway projects, the experience of 5 years is required, and for standalone specialized projects, the experience of 10 years is required. - For normal Highway projects, at least one similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost (Rs. 3.70 Crore) shall have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. - A project shall be considered to be completed, if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed and such completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the estimated project cost. - The cost of land and pre-construction activities shall not be included, and this amount should not be less than 5% of the estimated project cost.Similar work or eligible projects include: - Construction of buildings/hostels - Earthwork alone - Work related to border fencing - Construction of VUP for rectification of blackspot - EPC Projects - Turnkey project - Item rate contract - Construction works - Maintenance works to be taken up on EPC mode - Improvement in Riding Quality work (IRQP/IRQ) Values like amount and percentage mentioned are: - 20% of Estimated Project Cost - 5% of the estimated project cost - 26% (twenty six per cent) equity - 90% of the value of work - Rs. 92.39 Lakh - 20 percent or more of the Threshold Technical Capacity - 2.5 - At least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects
