Expression of Interest: Consultant for Senior noncommunicable disease expert The government of mongolia has requested support to strengthen the policy environment for noncommunicable disease (ncd) control and pharmaceutical regulation through evidence based research. The knowledge and support technical assistance (ta) will help the ministry of health (moh) improve the populations health by (i) strengthening capacity for pharmaceutical regulation,(ii) providing guidance for policies on ncds, and (iii) expanding awareness for ncds and medicine safety. The knowledge and support technical assistance (ta) will require a total of 91 person-months of consulting services (8 individual national consultants for a total of 82 person-months, and 2 individual international consultants for a total of 9 person-months). The consultants will be engaged in accordance with the asian development bank (adb) procurement policy (2017, as amended from time to time) and its associated procurement staff instructions. The consultants will be responsible for the timely submission of ta outputs and deliverables and organizing and implementing all ta activities. Scope of Work: The senior noncommunicable disease expert will be responsible for finalizing the needs assessment survey, drafting the national program on ncd prevention and control, and conducting trainings and workshops.
