Expressions of interest for The conduction of a study for the assessment of training needs in the field of tourism and recreation. This study is aimed al evaluating the effectiveness or how responsive is current training to the tourism industry and if there are current training needs that have to be taken into account. This will enable the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure to better assess the quality of training and protessionalization of this sector. Specifically, the study will consist to: - Contact hoteliers and their workers for feedback of what is happening in their establishments; - Contact training institutions to evaluate their (raining methodology and contents; - Find out from employees and trainees the correlation between their training and getting jobs; - Bring out statistics on training and employment in the tourism sector; - Evaluate progress in training from 2014 after validation of Reference document in training to present date; - Come out with a complete comprehensive study thai will show a clear picture on the training situation vis-a-vis employment in the tourism industry and how this is helping to professionalize this sector of our economy.
