The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the cost of the works. For works costing exceeding 1000 lakh but not more than 2000 lakh, the required prior work experience includes: - Two Degree holders in Engineering with at least 05 years practical experience of works. - A Diploma holder in Engineering with at least 08 years practical experience of works. For works costing exceeding 2000 lakh, the required prior work experience includes: - Three degree holders in Engineering with at least 05 years practical experience of works. - Three Diploma holder in Engineering with at least 08 years practical experience of works. - 02 No Surveyor with sound knowledge on total station survey and at least 5 years working experience of works. No specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned for MES enlisted contractors or contractors not enlisted with MES. However, it is stated that un-enlisted contractors who have secured two works in MES should get themselves registered in the appropriate designated class with any Registering Authority. The contractor's present residual work in hand should not be more than five times their present tendering limit.
