Description As Part Of The Continuing Implementation Of Its Watershed Enhancement Initiatives In The Kaliwa Watershed For This Year, The Metropolitan Waterworks And Sewerage System-corporate Office (mwss-co) Wishes To Invite Interested Community-based Service Providers Or Local Community Organizations (i.e., People’s Organizations) To Participate In The Bidding For The Planting And Nurturing For At Least One (1) Year Of 100 Hectares Or Equivalent To 48,000 Seedlings In The Kaliwa Watershed (proclamation No. 573 Series 1969) Area In Rizal Province Under The Watershed Rehabilitation Through Community-based Reforestation Project.. Additionally, In Order To Ensure The Survival Of The Seedlings Planted In Cy 2023 Encompassing 100 Hectares Also Within The Kaliwa Watershed, Maintenance And Protection Shall Be Undertaken. The Engagement Of A Site-based Group (i.e., People’s Organizations) For The Reforestation And Maintenance Of This Critical Watershed Shall Be Implemented To Bring Positive Social Outcomes With The Kaliwa Watershed Stakeholders As The Main Beneficiaries. The Mwss-co Hereinafter Referred To As The “the Procuring Entity (pe)” Now Request You To Submit Price Quotation For The Procurement Of The Abovementioned Project, As Specified In The Terms Of Reference (tor) Provided In The Annex “a” As Attached. The Quotation Should Be Expressed In Peso Per Lot For Services Covering The Scope Of Works For Survey, Mapping And Planning, Site Preparation/planting And Development, Maintenance And Protection, Inspection, Monitoring And Reporting, Validation, And Necessary Tools And Equipment For One (1) Year And Per Seedling For The Supply Of Required Number Of Planting Materials And Per Kilogram For Fertilizer. All Items Listed In The Specifications As Stated In The Tor Must Be Complied On A Pass/fail Basis. Failure To Meet Any One Of The Requirements May Result To Rejection. The Approved Budget For The Contract (abc) Is Two Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (php 2,650,000.00) In Philippine Currency Inclusive Of All Applicable Taxes And Duties. Quotation Submitted Higher Than The Abc Shall Be Automatically Rejected.
