The Lcr Economy Makes A Significant Contribution To National Economic Performance. However, The Liverpool City Region Faces Productivity Gaps With The National Economy​ And Has Seen Low Productivity Growth Over Recent Years. Therefore, As A City Region We Need To Understand, What Exactly, Is Contributing To The Lcr Productivity Gap. As A Result, We Are Looking To Commission External Expertise To Enhance Some Of The Quantitative Analysis We Have Conducted In-house, With Qualitative Evidence. This Will Involve Consultation And Engagement With External Partners And Stakeholders To Validate The Work We Have Done In-house, Whilst Understanding In More Detail, What The Key Drivers Of The Lcr Productivity Gap, Could Be. This Will Help Us Understand Where We, As A Ca And Also As A Wider City Region, Need To Focus Future Investments And Interventions To Narrow The Productivity Gap And Ensure Best Value For Money.
