The Design Of The Msb Is Technically Advantageous Since The Water Meter Is Not Only Protected From External Magnetic Field But From External Forces And Unauthorized Calibration Which May Damage Said Water Meters. Experiments Showed That A Utility Agency Can Lose As Much As 2,397 Liters (12 Drums Of 200 Liters Capacity) Of Water Just For One (1) Hour (at 20 Psi) With The Use Of Magnets. The Msb Can Be Installed Right In The Field Or In The Shop Before The Water Meter Is Installed As Part Of The Service Connection Of The Concessionaires. The Use Of The Msb Will Mean Reduction Of Unaccounted For Or Non-revenue Water And Subsequent Increase Of Income And Service Connections Of The Water Utility Agencies.
