The formula to calculate the available bid capacity is: Assessed available Bid capacity = (AxNx2)-B Where: A = No. of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited or Maximum value of civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last Five years N = No. of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited B = Value at 2024-25 price level of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the year. Alternatively, the bid capacity required can also be determined by the following conditions: - The bidder should have completed at least two similar works, each not less than Rs. 2,76,42,925/-, or - Three completed similar works, each not less than Rs. 2,21,14,340/-, or - One similar work not less than Rs. 4,42,28,680/-. Additionally, the tenderer should have a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs. 4,14,64,387/- or more in any of the last Five years at price level of 2024-25. The bid capacity also includes the Additional Performance Security Deposit, which is calculated based on the quoted tender value.
