The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: * Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender * Two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender * One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender The cost of previous completed works shall be given a simple weightage of 5% per year to bring them to the current price level while evaluating the qualification requirement of the bidder. In case of Joint Venture, the qualifying criteria parameter can be fulfilled by: * Any of the JV partners/JV itself having the experience of having completed successfully a single work of similar nature equal to 80% of the estimated cost put to tender * Either the JV itself/Any one of the partners can match the above requirement of two works of similar nature each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender * Either the JV itself/Any one of the partners can match the above requirement of three works of similar nature each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender * At least two partners should each have completed at least one work of similar nature each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender * Any two partners shall match the above requirement through completion of at least two works by one partner and one work by another partner of similar nature each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender * All the three partners shall match the above requirement through completion of at least one work of similar nature each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. A satisfactory work completion certificate is required, issued by the employer for similar work. The definition of similar work is "Any Civil Engineering Work containing Masonry AND/OR Concrete works."
