The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar works in the last 7 years. The experience required for similar works is categorized into several types, including Bituminous Road work, Building Construction, Sewer and water supply, Survey work, and Maintenance Work, among others. The bidder should have completed: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost - One similar completed work, costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost The cost of work should include the gross value of the completed work, including the cost of materials supplied by the government/client, but excluding those supplied free of cost. This should be certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Project Manager or equivalent. Additionally, the bidder must provide a list of similar nature of works completed during the last seven years, including project name, name of the employer, contract number, and amount. The bidder must also have a minimum turnover in construction works, and the financial analysis of the bidder must be supported by figures in the balance sheet/profit & loss account for the last five years. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering construction, with a total value of work performed in the last five years. The total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last five years should be in Rs. Crore indexed to current price level @ 10% increase. The bidder should invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract. The bidding capacity shall be worked out by the formula: Bidding Capacity (Rs.) = {[AxNx2]-B}, where A is the Maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last five years, N is the Number of years prescribed for completion of work, and B is the Value of existing commitments and on-going works.
