The Service Objectives Are: • To Provide A Communication And Language Advisory Service For Early Years Settings Who Care For Children Who Have An Identified Speech, Language, And Communication Needs • To Provide Training, Guidance, And Support To Early Years Settings As Well As Practitioners And Staff Within Knowsley’s Early Years’ Service So That They Are Equipped With The Knowledge And Skills Required To Confidently Support Children Who Have Speech, Language, And Communication Needs • To Facilitate Network Meetings Across Knowsley In Order To Provide Support And Opportunities For Early Years Settings That Enhances Practice And Response From Practitioners Linked To Wellcomm Screening. • To Complete Slcn Audits In The Early Years Pvi Settings To Provide Advice And Guidance With A Robust Action Plan To Identify Next Steps Provider Requirements The Successful Service Provider Must Demonstrate That The Organisation And Any Staff Employed On This Contract Are Qualified Speech And Language Therapists In Line With The Standards Set Out By The Health And Care Professionals Council (hcpc) And Must Provide A Copy Of Their Staff’s Hcpc Registration Within The Staff Training Matrix
