The bidder should have experience of works of similar nature in the last seven years. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 80% of the Probable Amount of Contract (PAC) of the work during the last seven years as Prime Contractor. Alternatively, the bidder should have successfully completed two similar works each costing more than 60% of the PAC of the work during the last seven years as Prime Contractor. Or, the bidder should have successfully completed three similar works each costing more than 40% of the PAC of the work during the last seven years as Prime Contractor. The value of similar works completed is considered as follows: - More than 80% of the PAC for one work - More than 60% of the PAC for two works - More than 40% of the PAC for three works The bidder should also have an average annual turnover not less than 30% of PAC of the work. The experience certificate should show details such as the agreed PAC, the completed value of work, its start and end date, whether the work has been completed satisfactorily, and the salient features of the work.
