The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: 1. Construction of a Water Treatment Plant with a minimum of 40% output capacity, subject to a maximum of 40MLD. 2. For construction of a Water Treatment Plant with modern technology, the bidder must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity, and also with similar technology for a minimum of 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant. 3. For rehabilitation work of a Water Treatment Plant, the bidder must have constructed or rehabilitated a Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. 4. For O&M work of a Water Treatment Plant, the bidder must have constructed, rehabilitated, or operated and maintained a Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. 5. For construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant up to 5 MLD capacity, the bidder must have constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 0.5 MLD capacity. 6. For construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant above 5 MLD capacity, the bidder must have constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 10% capacity. 7. For supplying and laying of Water Supply pipes above 400mm and up to 800mm diameter, the bidder must have supplied and laid a total of 1000m of 300mm or higher sized pipes of any material in the past in a single work, if the total length of laying is greater than 1000m. The values and percentages mentioned include: - 40% output capacity - 40MLD maximum output capacity - 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant - 25% output capacity - 0.5 MLD capacity - 5 MLD capacity - 10% capacity - 300mm or higher sized pipes - 1000m total length of laying - 400mm diameter pipes - 800mm diameter pipes - 10% of the Tendered PAC (no experience required for components costing less than this) - Worth minimum 40% cost of major civil component included in the particular tender for his Sole / Joint Venture / Partner of the Joint Venture within the last ten years. - Annual escalation @ 5% (simple interest) will be allowed for the cost of works completed in the previous years. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in water treatment plants or sewerage treatment plants of 3 MLD or higher capacity, and should provide details of treatment plants separately, indicating clearly the type of process description of units, etc. The contract value as constructed value should be mentioned in lakhs. The bidder should also provide information on key persons who executed the project on behalf of the applicant, construction plant, and equipment used by the applicant in the execution of the project. The bidder should provide project-wise experience, including scheduled time of completion in months, starting date, and completion date. The bidder should also provide the name of the client, financing authority, and contact details. No specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned as a requirement, but the bidder should provide the percentage of completion for ongoing projects. The bidder's quoted rate should not be more than 25% below the estimated cost, and if it is between 10% and 25% below the estimated cost, an additional performance guarantee will be required. The performance guarantee will be 5% of the contract value, and at least 50% of this deposit should be in the form of Treasury Fixed Deposit, with the rest in the form of Bank Guarantee or other prescribed forms.
