The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in executing works similar to the work tendered, such as construction of civil structures, water treatment plants, and sewage treatment plants. The bidder should have experience in designing, supplying, laying, and commissioning of similar works. Specific requirements for prior work experience include: - Construction of civil structures except Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP): a single work worth minimum 40% cost of major civil component included in the particular tender. - Construction of Water Treatment Plant up to 5 MLD output capacity: constructed a Water Treatment plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 1 MLD output capacity. - Construction of Water Treatment Plant above 5 MLD output capacity: constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40MLD. - Construction of Water Treatment Plant with modern technology: constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40MLD, and constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant. - Rehabilitation work of Water Treatment Plant: constructed/rehabilitated Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. - O&M work of Water Treatment Plant: constructed/rehabilitated/Operated & maintained Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. - Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant up to 5 MLD capacity: constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 0.5 MLD capacity. - Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity above 5 MLD: constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 10% capacity. Values and percentages of similar works completed mentioned include: - 40% cost of major civil component - 5% annual escalation - 1 MLD output capacity - 40% output capacity (subject to a maximum of 40MLD) - 10% output capacity - 25% output capacity - 0.5 MLD capacity - 10% capacity - Rs. 5 crores to Rs. 20 crores (estimated cost for works) - Rs. 20 crores (estimated cost above which additional experience is required) - 10% of the TPAC (for components of the work costing less than this, no experience is required) - 20% of estimated PAC (minimum solvency required, subject to a maximum value of Rs.5.00 Crores)
