The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in construction of civil structures, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). For construction of civil structures except WTP and STP, the bidder must have experience of having successfully completed a single work worth minimum 40% cost of major civil component. For construction of WTP upto 5 MLD output capacity, the bidder must have constructed a WTP in the past with any technology for a minimum of 1 MLD output capacity. For construction of WTP above 5 MLD output capacity, the bidder must have constructed a WTP in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40MLD. For construction of WTP with modern technology, the bidder must have constructed a WTP in the past with any Technology for minimum of 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40MLD, and also must have constructed a WTP in the past with similar Technology for minimum of 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant. For rehabilitation work of WTP, the bidder must have constructed/rehabilitated WTP in the past with similar Technology for minimum of 25% output capacity. For O&M work of WTP, the bidder must have constructed/rehabilitated/Operated & maintained WTP in the past with similar Technology for minimum of 25% output capacity. For construction of STP upto 5 MLD capacity, the bidder must have constructed a STP in the past with any technology for a minimum of 0.5 MLD capacity. The values and percentages mentioned include: - 40% cost of major civil component - 1 MLD output capacity - 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40MLD - 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant - 25% output capacity - 0.5 MLD capacity - 5% annual escalation for the cost of works completed in the previous years - 10% of the average annual estimated cost of the contract - 15% of annual turnover Additionally, the bidder should have experience as a prime contractor for construction of similar works.
