The bidder is required to have prior work experience, specifically in the completion of similar works, with a value of more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender. For example, if the estimated cost of the work is 100 units, the bidder should have completed a similar work with a value of more than 40 units. The bidder should have completed relevant works over the last six years, and provide a summary of their experience in the neighborhood work and/or neighboring states. They should also provide details of similar projects completed, including the contract value, company name, and experience. The bidder's annual financial turnover and cost of completed works of previous years shall be given a weightage of 5% per year to bring them at the current price level. The bidder should possess adequate working capital of more than 10% of the probable estimated cost of work for which they are bidding. The bidder needs to provide information about their experience in similar projects, including contract details, employer name, location, and type of contract, name of the engineer responsible for supervision, contract price and date, percentage of participation of the company in the project, value of work completed and certified, and percentage of partial completion. The bidder should submit a Certificate of experience from the Agreement Authority of the completed similar work, containing details such as Name of work, Agreement number, Estimated cost, Contract Price, date of start and date of completion, and whether the work has been completed satisfactorily. Additionally, the bidder is required to provide copies of experience certificates attested by a Gazetted Officer or notarised to prove the similar work experience. They must demonstrate their capability and adequacy of resources to carry out the contract effectively. In the case of a Joint Venture or Consortium, each party must provide details of their experience and past performance of works of similar nature within the past five years.
