The bidder should have appropriate experience in similar work for the last 5 years in government/semi-government/Public Sector Undertakings. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years in a similar nature of work. The bidder should have achieved in any one year a minimum financial turnover volume of construction work of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid has been invited. The turnover will be indexed at the rate of 8 percent for a year. Evidence of satisfactory execution of works that have been executed by the tenders during the last 5 years in organized sectors has to be produced. The experience certificate from the Engineer In-Charge of the work not below the rank of the Executive Engineer or equivalent rank officers only shall be considered acceptable in Govt./semi Govt./Public Sector undertakings. The bidder is required to have prior work experience, with a list of works satisfactorily completed during the last 4 years, along with attested copies of experience certificates. The certificates should clearly indicate the date of start, date of completion, and amount of work actually executed. The bidder is required to have prior work experience of satisfactorily completing works during the last five financial years and running projects in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Sector undertaking. The experience certificates should clearly indicate the head bifurcation of works. The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years in a similar nature of work for both Graduate Engineer and Diploma Engineer. As for the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should have achieved in any one year a minimum financial turnover volume of construction work of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works. The contractor should have a minimum tangible Net Worth of at least 25% of the bid value. Liquid assets should not be less than 15% of the bid value.
