Over The Years, Issues Related To The Quality Of Data Captured Through The Global Aids Monitoring (gam) Platform Have Been Observed. However, These Data Quality Issues Have Not Yet Been Systematically Examined To Provide The Necessary Recommendations Or Implement The Needed Capacity Building Initiatives In Support Of Country Teams. Through Better Data Quality, And Data Use, Countries Can Step Up Their Responses To Reach The Final Mile Of Receding Hiv Epidemics Or Take The Necessary Steps To End Aids As A Public Health Threat By 2030. It Is Against This Background That Unaids Rst Ap Would Like To Engage A Consultant To Conduct A Data Quality Review Of Gam Data For Countries In Asia And The Pacific. A Consultant Is Required To Work From 1st July To 31st August 2022 For A Maximum Of 30 Working Days To Perform The Following Functions: • To Assess And Review The Status Of Gam Data From 2018 To 2022 In Terms Of Availability, Completeness, Correctness, And Consistency By Indicator, By Thematic Area And By Country, And Closure Of Data Queries And Comments Detailed Tasks: • Review Gam Data Submitted By Countries In Asia And The Pacific In The Past 5 Years • Assess Completeness Of Data Reported, And Compliance With Indicator Definitions • Assess Accuracy, Validity, Timeliness, And Internal Consistency Of The Reported Data Across Indicators And Throughout The Reporting Years • Assess Whether Data Is Properly Disaggregated By Age And Gender, • Assess If Subnational And Location Specific Data Are Reported As Per Indicator Requirement • Identify Problematic Indicators, Or Those Posing Challenges To Different Countries • Conduct Focus Analysis On All Key Aspects Data Quality By Indicator, By Thematic Area And By Country • Prepare The Analytical Report With Key Findings And Recommendations For Improvements In Gam Data Duration Of The Work: July 2022 – August 2022 (for A Maximum 30 Working Days) For Details On The Activities And Expected Outcomes Please Refer To The Attached Rfq Document
