Rfp-2022-136: Consultant For Communication And Advocacy Open New Window & The Purpose Of This Rfq Is To Select Suitable Supplier For The Procurement Of A Communications- Advocacy Consultant Who Will Support Uco India In The Development Of An Advocacy And Communications Plan For 2023 In Accordance With The Corporate Priorities Currently Identified. In Addition, The Consultant Will Assist /guide In The Production Of Knowledge And Advocacy Products, Support Media Engagement, Social Media And Web Outreach, And Assist With Organizing Outreach Events, Linked To The Advocacy And Communications Strategy Developed. Tasks/activities Advocacy 1. In Close Consultation With Unaids India Staff Develop A 12-month Communication-advocacy Strategy, With The Principal Objective Of Building Momentum Around Key Programmatic Gap Areas In The National Hiv Response. 2. Act As A Primary Focal Point In The Planning And Facilitation Of Advocacy And Communication Activities. 3. Manage The Implementation Of Country Advocacy Activities, Including The Development Of Related Communication And Advocacy Materials That Effectively Support Unaids' Work. 4. Works With Internal And External Key Organizational Stakeholders To Identify And Develop Areas Of Common Interest With Potential Strategic Advocacy Partners To Promote The Goals And Work Of Unaids At The Country Level. 5. Works With The Regional And Global Team On Showcasing Unaids Work At Country Level With Global Audiences. Provide Inputs Into Regional And Global Advocacy And Communications Strategies, Initiatives, And Activities, As Required. Communication 1. Manages, Organizes And Coordinates Press Conferences, Media Briefings, Line Up Interviews And Alike With Unaids India, Advising Them On Key Issues. 2. Under Guidance From Unaids India, Develop And Pitch Different News Stories In Media - Mainstream And Social - On Unaids/partner Work In The Country. 3. Provides Media Management And Crisis Communications, When Needed. Content Development And Management 4. Draft Briefing Packages And Undertake A Wide Range Of Other Writing Assignments Including Talking Points And Key Messages Related To Unaids Communication And Advocacy Campaigns And High-profile Country - And Occasionally Regional - Events. 5. Produces Content For The Social And Digital Media Assets Of The Country Office, Including Website And Social Media With Support, If Required From The Regional Office. 6. Ensures The Update Of All Country, Regional And Global Communications Libraries With Appropriate Contributions From The Regional And Global Team.
