The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, with the value of the contract and the quantity of work performed being taken into account. Specific experience requirements are mentioned for certain technical personnel: - Plant Engineer: B.E. Mech. + 10 years of experience or Dip. Mech. + 15 years of experience - Quantity Surveyor: B.E. Civil + 7 years of experience or Dip. Civil + 10 years of experience - Soil and Material Engineer: B.E. Civil + 10 years of experience - Survey Engineer: B.E. Civil + 5 years of experience or Dip. Civil + 8 years of experience - Project Manager: 5 years of experience as a Manager and BE Civil with at least 15 years of experience - Site Engineer: 5 years of experience in Road Construction and BE Civil with at least 10 years of experience The bidder should have completed a project of at least 50 percent of the contract value within the last five years, and the employer's certificate in support of the completion of the project is required. The bidder must have completed at least 25% of the contract value as a minimum cash investment during the implementation of the work. The bidder must also have access to lines of credit and other financial resources, with a certified statement from the banker, not more than 3 months old, confirming the availability of 10% of the contract value. The total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years should be provided, and proposals for subcontracting components of the works amounting to more than 10 percent of the Bid Price should be provided. The bidder's available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, and the number of years prescribed for completion of the works. The value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next 9 months is also considered, with a value of existing commitments mentioned as 97 lakhs. The bid capacity is calculated using the formula 2 x A x N – B, where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the completion time in years, and B is the value of existing commitments.
