The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last five years, with specific details such as project name, employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, and dates of work order and completion. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature over the last five years. The value of similar works completed is required to be mentioned, but no specific percentage is given. However, the bidder needs to provide information on the quantity of work performed, including Cement Concrete and Earth Works, for each year from 2020-2021 to 2024-2025. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on their experience, considering the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should also have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of no less than 2.5 Crore, which is the equivalent of the estimated cash flow for 3 months in the peak construction period. Additionally, the bidder must provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, certified by the bankers, with a minimum of 20% of the estimated cost. The bidder must also undertake to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation. If any elements of the work are to be subcontracted, costing more than 10% of the bid amount, the bidder must provide proposals for such subcontracting.
