The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last seven years. The similar works should be construction of pavement quality concrete (PQC) road, which may include allied civil works. The required experience can be in the form of: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost (i.e., Rs. 148.31 lakhs each), - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost (i.e., Rs. 185.39 lakhs each), - One similar completed work, costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost (i.e., Rs. 296.62 lakhs). The cost of similar work can be calculated by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of seven percent per annum from the date of completion to the date of bid opening. The works may have been executed by the Applicants as prime contractor or as member of joint venture or subcontractor. As subcontractor, he should have acquired the experience of execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract. In case the project has been executed by a joint venture, weightage towards experience of the project would be given to each joint venture in proportion to their participation in the joint venture. The share of lead partner in a joint venture shall be minimum 26% in J.V and Joint Venture partners shall be limited to three firms (including the lead partner).
