The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed civil works as a contractor in the same name and style during the last seven financial years. The experience requirements are as follows: - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost, - Or, two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - Or, three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also have average annual turnover in civil engineering works of not less than 30% of the estimated value of work during the last three financial years, and annual turnover in civil engineering works of not less than the estimated value of work in any one year during the last seven financial years. Specifically, for flood protection work, including launching apron or boulder pitching in wire crates, the bidder should have executed similar work with the following experience: - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. The bidder should provide information on work of similar type and magnitude to the work under consideration, including details such as the name of the work, place, tendered cost, period of completion, time taken to complete, cost of work on completion, and principal features of the work. The bidder should also provide certified scan copies of experience certificates as per the bid.
