The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar nature of civil works during the last 7 years. The required experience is as follows: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The experience will be updated by giving 8% simple weightage per year to bring them to the current financial year price level. A work experience certificate should not be issued below the rank of Executive Engineer. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide details of their ongoing and completed works, including the tendered cost, cost of work remaining to be executed, and anticipated date of completion, in FORM - 'A'. The form also requires the bidder to provide a certificate of value of actual work done, issued by an Executive Engineer, for ongoing works. However, in some cases, specific values and percentages of similar works completed are not mentioned, and the information on required prior work experience is limited to the details required in forms, and in one case, the tenderer is only required to be "experienced and competent to perform the contract to the satisfaction of the Engineer-In-charge".
